Legend

Displays visual explanations for the symbols, colors, and styling used in your map layers. The legend helps viewers understand what different features represent.

When enabled, the legend panel automatically displays legend entries based on your configured layers. You can customize each layer's legend appearance, including whether to include it, set a custom title, and show field names alongside values.

The legend supports different display modes to fit your layout - as a floating panel, inline under layers, or both. Legend categories automatically include color swatches, gradient scales, size ramps, icons, lines, images, and additional notes based on your layer configuration.

Layer Control

Displays a list of all layers on your map with visibility toggles. This allows viewers to show or hide layers to focus on the data they want to examine.

When enabled, the layer control panel appears on your map showing each layer with a checkbox to toggle its visibility. Viewers can expand or collapse layers to manage the display of your map content.

Many map resources require attribution on the map. If you have added a custom source and need to display the attribution message, you can enter it here:
