Every tram, bus and regional train in Krakow, live from the city's open data: where each one is, how late it is running, where vehicles are bunching and where traffic is holding them up. Zoom in to see each vehicle in 3D, click one for its line, delay and next stop, and follow it through the city.
Live data: ZTP Kraków open data (MPK trams and buses, Mobilis buses) and Koleje Małopolskie open data (regional trains and buses), as GTFS-Realtime, read every 10 seconds by Icon Map's collector, which matches each vehicle to its timetabled trip to work out its delay. The map runs about half a minute behind, so every vehicle moves between two positions it really reported, along its route. Vehicle types are drawn from fleet numbers where they carry them; models and liveries are generic. If the live feed is unavailable, a recorded weekday evening plays instead. Real Icon Map renders built from ordinary tables: the track network and its condition, who can reach each station, and how busy they are. The walking catchments are computed in the browser on Icon Map's own routing engine, so station and passenger data never leaves your tenant.
Condition scores are synthetic for demonstration; the network geometry, routing and rendering are the shipped product.
